Simplify Your Route Management for Collections/Mileage

How it works:

• Route builder – enter a starting address, add each patient stop (name, address, setting, specimen type), and log the actual miles for each leg (per CMS guidance, verified against a mapping tool like Google Maps). A visual route strip updates live as you build the trip.

• Automatic basis selection – the flat-rate basis applies when the technician travels 20 eligible miles or less round-trip to one location; the per-mile basis applies when round-trip travel exceeds 20 miles to one location, or when the trip covers more than one location regardless of mileage.

• Correct proration – the flat-rate pool ($12.50 at the 2026 rate) or the total mileage allowance is divided across every patient for whom a specimen collection fee is payable, matching CMS's per-patient distribution method.

• Collection fee + travel allowance combined – each line shows the right HCPCS pair (36415/P9612/G0471 for collection, P9603/P9604 with the LR modifier where applicable for travel) and a total per patient.

• Trip log & export – save trips (persisted locally in the tool), and export CSV lines ready to hand to billing staff or drop into your claims workflow.

• Editable rates – the mileage rate and collection fees are stored as adjustable settings, since CMS updates them every January.
